This is PIVO 2, Nissan Motor's new concept vehicle. The car is battery powered and its cabin can rotate 360 degrees, making its front door accessible from any direction. The vehicle does not have axles, so it can drive sideways and squeeze into tight parking spaces, due to the 90-degree turning capability of the Pivo2's wheels.
It has a round-eyed robot head, that pops from the dashboard. It is programmed to calm drivers caught in heavy traffic or help motorists stay awake. The robot's sensors detect facial expressions and interpret a person's mood. If the person appears sleepy, the robot can even locate a coffee shop.
